The Arte Sella, looks to be one of the most magical, fairytale woodlands in the world. Since 1986 this astounding destination in the Sella Valley in Italy has been dotting the landscape with the amazing works of over 200 contemporary artists from all over the world. A future holiday destination for sure!

Sequoia National Park (more travelling)

Home to the largest trees in the entire world. In the 19th Century, loggers cut down a tree, shipped it pieces to the East Coast and reconstructed it. However, no one believed trees could be this large and called it the “Californian Hoax.” I wish I had more time to explore, this park has 240 caverns and some of the highest peaks in the Continental United States.

This wilderness was once the home to the Western Mono people, but by the 19th Century, it was a widowed land. Though white settlers knew about this area for quite some time, it was not very publicized until explorer John Muir arrived here. Asides the nature, exploring the small towns around here can be very fun, too.

The Blue Pond in Hokkaido Changes Colors Depending on the Weather

“The Most Beautiful Pond In The World!”

According to the photographer Ken Shiraishiwho made a pilgrimage up to Northern Japan last month to take these shots, the water contains a high degree of aluminum hydroxide, which reflects blue light – a phenomenon responsible for our lovely blue skies. Shiraishi spent several days up there photographing the pond in various light.
